bye bye twenty fourteen

so it is 2015, I would've said finally but this year came round way too quick!

My New Year's Eve was slightly different to what I had expected, it started out very well seeing my friends that I hadn't seen in a while, but I spent midnight hanging over the toilet at home throwing up. (sorry for any mental images)

So I thought I should do some sort of post for New Years and as my life revolves around the tv I would do a post that is about my top ten character deaths of 2014...with 1 being the worst in the sense of saddness.

so let's begin:

10. Groot
I only recently watched guardians of the galaxy and I must admit I never thought the words 'we are groot' could be so upsetting...and I know groot isnt technically dead because he's a little baby twig now but it was just so sad!

9. Peeta Mellark

Okay before you panic he is not actually dead! I have put him on this list because the version of Peeta as we know him is dead, with the whole hijacking, and I thought that this picture I found on the internet shows that really well...and too see him go from that happy smiling boy to the crazed one at the end of mockingjay: part 1 literally breaks my heart!

8. Osgood (doctor who)

why did she have to go??? Osgood was one of my I swear I thought she was about to become the new companion when the doctor was like 'all of time and space' and then poof she was gone! I definitely need to see her again!

7.Charlotte (the 100)

this was a sad one, like she was so cute (apart from killing wells) and I really can't believe she jumped from the cliff...I really wish that her story hadn't ended there..

6. Mara (Haven)
as much as I loved Mara, I think it was probably her time to it wasn't a very sad death but I will miss her sarcastic comments and I did start to ship her with Duke...they made a rather good match if I say so myself.

5. Neal Cassidy (once upon a time)
as much as I love Hook and Emma, I was so in love with Emma and Neal and just sobbed so much when he from the moment he was onscreen he was just amazing and I do definitely miss him!

4. Jennifer Mason (Haven)
I know technically Jennifer died in 2013...but it wasn't officially said until 2014 so that is why she is on my list...and I'll tell you it was one of the saddest character deaths ever because she was such a bright happy person from the start to the end!

3. Danny Pink (doctor who)
this was a weird death because it kind of lasted a while and it was also because I never actually liked his character until he was dead. But the thing which made it sadder was that he was in the nethersphere and then when he was a cyberman and managed to overcome the control because of his love for Clara which just made me sob...and seeing him in the Christmas special in Clara's dream state was just heartbreaking!

2. Finn Collins (the 100)
this was the most shocking and saddest thing ever. one day I was just scrolling through tumblr when I see this post which had the words 'may we meet again' with a gifset of his death and I just couldn't believe it..he is one of my favourite characters and a main..and I just couldn't believe that they would kill off a main character, I sobbed so much but I fully understand why Clarke stabbed him and I think it was actually the cutest way for him to go.

1. Casey Braxton (home and away)

and the saddest character death of the year goes to Casey Braxton! The main reason I choose this as the top is for the pure reason I cried for 20 minutes straight and for like 5 episodes after especially the funeral..I was an emotional mess! But Lincoln Younes deserves an award because he was amazing at playing dead and also the moments just before! hopefully the gif will actually play because I thought they would be a good representation of how heart wrenching this was because he was such an amazing character and so happy and he died being such an amazing person trying to save his brother.

missed me?

when I first started writing this I had such high hopes of posting everyday and making it a permanent thing, but recently I just cannot seem to string a sentence together (which is not very good for someone trying to write a blog)

but fear not I do have a post coming for the new year (expect it late New Year's Day as I will be out New Year's Eve) and I'm hoping this will be quite good as I have been planning it for a couple of weeks, most likely won't but hey at least it will be something!

how about an update on me? not much happens in my life...but it's been Christmas and it was actually pretty good if I'm honest, and my main present (what my mum likes to call the 'Santa present'..I dont think she likes the fact her children are all grown up) was a new TV which I am absolutely stoked about because as I've mentioned I spend about 98% of my time watching TV and having a bigger screen (was 15" now 22") is just fabulous!

I am finally going out tomorrow for New Year's Eve, which I am so excited about as I haven't been out in so long and get to see all my friends which is good because I am possibly the worst person with planning to meet with because i am the laziest person you will ever meet!

I think that's all from me, so I shall see you back here New Year's Day (well if you want to come back!)

Wednesday, 17 December 2014

Wednesday can be the best or the worst day of the week...primarily because it is the middle day (of a 5 day week).

For me, it is kind of in the it's just another day...wake up, go to school, go home...and sleep.

that pretty much sums up most of my days I do add work in there occasionally which is mainly the reason I can never find anything to post unless it is uless rambling because I don't ever do anything!

but it's Christmas next week...something I should be excited about but I just cannot get into any Christmas mood (which is weird for me as I'm normally the one that is trying to work out what presents I've got).

I have also just decided (for like the 4th time...very bad at deciding) that I do want to go to university once I've finished sixth form so I'm in mid application...and finding it terribly hard to write a personal statement...I just hate having to write good things about myself!

So that is what I have to do when I get home...right now I am sat on a bus listening to Taylor Swift writing this because I really should keep my blog updated (then maybe more people would actually read) and I actually do enjoy writing it!

and I guess that is goodbye until the next time I find something to ramble on about!

biscuit? sorry they're mine!

I haven't posted in a while, and if anyone reads this regularly..I am so sorry, I just haven't had any ideas of what to write.

But when I do post, I notice that post of my readers are from somewhere other than the UK which is amazing...and I'm wondering do you know of a show called Miranda? Well you will do now!

okay, so it's a sitcom about a character Miranda (created and played by the amazing Miranda Hart) and just follows her life really.

I am fully aware of how badly I have just described it but just please take my advice and just go watch it because I just know you will get attached and fall head over heels in love with the character because she is great!

but sadly this year Miranda Hart has decided to end the show with two specials; one Christmas Day and one New Year's Day....and I'll admit to you now, when I found out I actually cried a little because it's heartbreaking when you find out you're never going to see a new episode of your favourite show!

As much as I am excited about these last two episodes I am also terribly scared because what if she doesn't marry Gary?! Ever since I have been watching this...Miranda and Gary have been my otp, they are absolutely great and then Mike (yes okay he's alright I guess) came along and just kind of ruined things...and the last episode ended with both of them asking Miranda to marry them...and I know it's totally up to Miranda but if she doesn't choose Gary..I will never be able to unsee that which is another thing about a show ending...things become canon.

if we burn, you burn with us!

SPOILERS!! I repeat SPOILERS!! If you haven't seen or read Mockingjay yet and would like to keep yourself spoiler free...then go and do it and then come back and read this post!

For once I have actually written a plan for this post instead of writing whatever comes to my mind because I feel like there was so much in the film I loved that should get mentioned...and I bet I still forget something!

So as I said in the first paragraph Mockingjay! I finally saw it last night and I was so pleased with the film, I have only read each of the books once but Mockingjay was definitely my favourite of the three...although it has been a while since I read the book so I can't 100% remember everything but I completely loved the film!

PEETA! seriously Josh Hutcherson I swear you are a crazy good actor...the way he managed to play tortured/hijacked Peeta so well was amazing! Like I know all the weight loss and that was cgi but to make it so convincing it was amazing! I honestly felt so bad for Peeta the whole time because I just knew he was in the process of being hijacked and when he heard Katniss singing the hanging tree and started saying 'Katniss, is that you?' He sort of looked to the side of the camera and I have this feeling that there were peacekeepers there threatening him to carry on talking and I am so glad he got out of the Capitol!!

Another person who I just felt so much pain for was was such a change for his character and I think Sam Claflin was amazing in showing this side of him. In catching fire he had to be the person Snow wanted him to be, but in this you see who he truly is, a hurt boy who has been forced into such horrible things and only wanted one thing and that was Annie....I am telling you I am not ready for part 2 because we all know what happens!

The beginning was one of my favourite parts, where Katniss is repeating what is real to her...because when I read it in the book I just expected her to be staying it normally and for the film to portray her rocking while repeating these things really shows how much she is hurting and what she is going through.

There was a tiny part that really stood out to me for some reason which was when President Snow was doing the broadcast saying that anything to do with the Mockingjay was an act of treason and then the camera goes to Snow's granddaughter who is taking out her braid/ his own granddaughter is scared to wear her hair a certain way because of what he might do to is actually quite scary!

Another favourite part of mine was The Hanging Tree, when I read the book I really couldn't put a tune to the song but when I heard it I just knew it was utterly perfect! The scene was such a memorable one because when it starts off with Katniss singing it you see everybody's facial expressions when they are listening to the lyrics and then cutting to the group of people singing it was so moving! Also when they cut into the broadcast and Peeta heard Katniss' voice, you could just see a second of hope in his eyes and then (as I saw on a tumblr post) when the line 'a dead man called out for his love to flee' and then he warned them about the bombings made everything so emotional because he is in the Capitol being tortured and still would do anything to save her!

Mockingjay made you see a completely different side to Haymitch and Effie because with the other two films they have been hidden behind alcohol and Capitol make-up, and seeing a sober and natural side to both of them shows that they don't need to cover themselves up to make their characters something!

You know how in Catching Fire every single word Johanna said was complete and utter this film she was in it for about five seconds and had no lines but managed to make it so memorable, just her facial expressions make everything!

As I said before Mockingjay was my favourite book out of the three mainly to do with the whole revolution storyline instead of the actual games, so the two major revolution points (without Katniss) in the film were amazing! First of all in district 7 when the peace keepers were marching people into the forest I remember seeing in the trailer them shooting and thought it was a trap until I heard the whistle which made me extremely happy and the whole 'if we burn, you burn with us line' because it shows that people are totally behind Katniss...also with the dam when the people are singing The Hanging Tree and are fighting to get through the peacekeepers just to take it down and were willing to die just makes me so emotional!

The one thing I was looking forward to and I don't know why was when Katniss and and Peeta finally see each other again because when I read it I remember thinking 'he did what???' because it was just so shocking and to actually see that shows the hijacking instead of just trying to imagine what he was like.

I have so many emotions about the next part, I'm excited but I am also dreading it! Obviously I am excited because I finally get to see the next part of the book being put on screen and to have Peeta slowly remember who Katniss is. But I am also dreading it because Finnick and they are the most fragile and innocent characters and all they want is to be happy and they are so sweet and they don't deserve what happens!

Tuesday, 11 November 2014

so yesterday I finished season 1 of pretty little liars...probably the longest it's taken me to watch a season of something, seeing as I originally started when it first came out..back in 2010! But recently started rewatching as I stopped sometime during season 1 the first time I watched it.

If you don't know the plot, it centres around a group of 5 girls, it starts with Alison's body being found, which brings the other 4 back together to try and figure out who killed Alison while they are being sent texts from a mysterious person 'A' who seems to know stuff about them that only Alison knew..

and the one thing I forgot was how much I shipped Ezria...obviously I'm not saying you should all go and start a relationship with your English teacher, just that in this fictional sense, it works. (I have seen some season 4 I know some stuff about Ezra and his actual agenda) and even though I know that stuff I still ship it...because although it started out different to how we think, it started something beautiful and I truly think they are a lovely couple!

I am just completely in love with the story line and the whole A situation...and you would think that you wouldn't be able to stretch the story for so long, but there are so many different stories that are brought up from the past which make it so hard not to watch!

I highly recommend you start watching this as soon as possible because it's such a great story line, such good actors and will have you hooked!

billy and me

Giovanna Fletcher is a fantastic writer!! I cannot begin to explain how amazing Billy and Me is, like it shocked me that I hadn't read it sooner!

I doubt this post will be very long as I am currently not sure what to do with myself because it's too early to sleep but also I don't really have anything to do..

but Billy and Me!! gosh if you are reading this please go and read the book, it had the perfect amount of romance, comedy and heartbreak...I read it with either a goofy smile across my face, laughing or with tears streaming down my face...and the story is just one of the most amazing things I have ever read so yeah please go and read!!

Also I recently watched Ravenswood (a spin off from pretty little liars...don't ask me why I decided to watch the spin off first) but it was super good and definitely not what I was expecting...but I have become obsessed with a song that was in the first episode which is the one that got away by the civil wars and I can't even explain how good it is..but do you know when you first hear a song and instantly fall in love?? that is exactly what you should go listen to it, you may like it!!

Friday night

for once on a Friday..I actually left my house!!

normally Friday nights for me consist of not much, just convincing myself I'm going to stay up really late because I don't need to be up early the next day, when in reality I end up sitting in bed thinking 'I'll just stay up to watch Graham Norton' and then fall asleep by 10!

but this week my sister got four tickets to see Catchphrase being filmed at the Maidstone Television Studios, which was so good! I must admit I don't really watch Catchphrase but to be watching a television show being filmed is something I've always loved to do!

Also Catchphrase is hosted by Stephen Mulhern, who I have loved since he was doing silly little shows on CITV, which I'm sure at one point I was probably too old to be watching! and I got to meet him (as below in the picture..I am the one on the right).

love, Rosie.

I finally saw love, Rosie.

when the trailer first came out I had no idea of the was only after my best friend told me to read the book (where rainbows end by Cecelia Ahern) which is what the film was based on that I fully fell in love.

I ordered it online so it wasn't until it got to my house I realised that it was actually quite a long book...which I assumed would take me a while to get through, but as soon as a started reading it I was hooked and it took me just under two days to finish it.

I was completely hooked on the story, the fact that Alex and Rosie had known each other for so long and were obviously perfect for each other but all the obstacles that got in their way made me want to read on because I was constantly thinking 'will they finally admit they're in love yet??'

So once I had finished reading I just couldn't wait to see the film, seeing one of my favourite books made into a film is literally the best, and I thought Lily Collins and Sam Claflin made the perfect Alex and Rosie!

and after waiting months I finally saw it yesterday afternoon and obviously the book was it's kind of a long winded story so it would've been nearly impossible to get the whole story into a film, but I must say I was so happy with the film..if you had seen it without reading the book it would seem absolutely perfect, it captured the 'will they won't they' story so well!

They did miss a few bits from the book like where was Rosie's sister? But they also made the stories fit so well and I really loved the films ending compared to the when I read it obviously it was great but then at the end of the film it clarifies what actually happens between Alex & Rosie!

oh and can I just say Sam Claflin was the most perfect Alex Stewart...he played him so well and literally broke my heart from the start and just proves why he is such a fabulous actor!!

I haven't posted in what feels like forever!! (mainly because I have no life so I don't really have anything to post about)

But...1989 came out this week...Monday I think?? I have no concept of days when I'm on a break from school

so I felt I had to post something because I feel like all Taylor gets recently is negative comments...which are so unnecessary (that took like a year for me to spell).

back to the point yes, 1989 is so flipping amazing! like I kid you not it is all I have listened to since it came out. I have been in love with Taylor Swift since I first heard love story (who didn't though??) and I was so excited for this album and she has literally smashed it!!

I am actually very bad at posting because when I try and string a sentence together I just end up sounding like an over excited fan girl...which I am but that's not the point. but yeah..if for some stupid reason (e.g over someone she dated) you aren't a fan of hers, YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM!!!

I promise you it'll be worth your time because it is absolutely fabulous and she just becomes an even better singer/songwriter the older she gets...and yeah, Taylor Swift is a literal queen!

films are life

so it is the first day of my two week half term (thank you Towers School!) and we have painters in today so I have pretty much locked myself in my room (not much different to any day if I'm honest) which means it's the perfect day for a giant mug of coffee and some films!
I don't know whether I will actually get through all the DVDs today but I am starting from the bottom up, and out of all them I have only ever seen Valentines Day and Bad Teacher so I am looking forward to watching the others!!

also Walking on Sunshine is out on dvd today which I'm so happy about because it was actually amazing! I love a good cheesy singing movie and jeez this was amazing! I loved all the music that was featured and I think the fact that most of the actors in it weren't well known made it better because I guess it seemed more relatable!

audrey parker

I am telling you now, this post will be full of Haven spoilers...I just finished watching the latest episode (5x6) and it was so amazing that I just have to post about it, so don't say I didn't warn you!!!

I've spoken about Haven before...and that it is literally the greatest TV show I have ever watched..I only started it in August sometime, and watched all 4 seasons within a week because I was just hooked. Season 5 is now being shown on TV..but the whole one episode a week thing is killing me!!!

I'm going to give you a brief overview of each season as this might help you to understand if you've never seen it before.
Season 1 was all about why Audrey Parker felt connected to Haven.
Season 2 was all about who the hell is Audrey Parker???
Season 3 was all about the way Audrey Parker can help the troubles.
Season 4 was all about finding Audrey, and getting rid of William.
Season 5 is all about getting Audrey back, getting rid of Mara and ending the troubles.

but only 6 episodes of season 5 have aired and my god has it been an emotional roller coaster! Although I have loved every bit of screen time Mara has had because out of all the versions she has been, she is definitely so close behind Audrey as a favourite...I think my favourite thing is how Emily Rose plays her, you just forget that it's the same actress!

like in season 4 Audrey isn't there, in season 4 it was Lexie but Audrey came through quite quickly whereas in season 5 it has been Mara throughout. But there have been the times where Audrey has come through which is what I have been living for because they were my favourite times!

Even though I love Mara I have been itching to get Audrey back..1. because she is my favourite character but also because I need more Naudrey scenes!!

So by episode 6, Mara wasn't that amazing anymore, she had lost her cutesy side..and was just pure evil! and the fact that in this episode and the previous she had pretending to be Audrey hurt me a bit..but Duke & Nathan's plan to get her back was what I waiting for!

As I watched the episode I was checking to see how long was left, and by the time Nathan and Duke were about to activate the trouble that would get Audrey out of Mara there were like 3 minutes left which got me worried if I'm honest. But then once it had been done and Mara starts laughing it broke my heart because I thought Nathan would never get to see Audrey.

BUT THEN you hear a sound and I swear I was sat in my bedroom going 'OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, ARE YOU SERIOUS?! SHES THERE?!?!' and yes!! Audrey Parker is back!!!! The fact that Mara is still there makes me happy because I get to see Audrey and Mara separately and that's fab!!

after I had watched it I was tweeting and getting all excited and decided to go through the #Haven5 tag just to see what people were saying, and someone was saying about how Audrey would no longer be immune to the troubles as she isn't in Mara's body anymore, which means Nathan won't be able to feel her anymore (my poor shipper heart) but I actually think that's a good thing! because when Nathan & Duke were locked in the room at the freddy, Duke was saying something along the lines of is Nathan only in love with Audrey because she is the only person he can feel...and I think this is a great way to prove that he doesn't just love her because he can feel her. (I think my heart would break if he only loved her for her touch because jeeeez my babies)

doctor who???

OK I WILL START THIS OFF BY SAYING I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DOCTOR WHO, so I can assure you this is not a post slating it because I feel like it's a rubbish show, because believe me..I don't! It's just a post to write my opinion!

I have been watching Doctor Who since I was 8 (I am 18 now) when it came back in 2005, and since then I have been completely hooked!

As most people say the first doctor they watch becomes 'their' doctor, which I find quite true, as well as companions, because if I had a chance I would absolutely love to see the 9th doctor and Rose chasing some alien down...because they are the characters/actors that got me hooked onto this show and they without sounding cheesy have a special place in my heart..

over these years I have fallen in love with so many of these characters...all the doctors and most of the companions (I'm not too keen on Martha, like I wouldn't go as far as saying I hate her but she's definitely my least favourite, I'm just not 100% why)

I think that one of the things that make doctor who such a loveable story is the relationship between the doctor and the companion.

I have loved every doctor/companion relationship there has been up until the 12th doctor and Clara, this has nothing to do with either of them and individually they are so perfect but together I just don't think they match.

Most of the relationships have been good because of Martha, Donna, Amy and Rory have only been with one doctor, so they wouldn't have been through that whole personality change; and even though Rose was with the 9th and 10th doctor and even though it was never fully canon, they had a love relationship which started with the 9th doctor and then the 10th still had those feelings..where as I feel like Clara and the 11th doctor were getting into a love relationship, but because the whole 12th regeneration was such a big one..the 12th doctor doesn't feel that way and it has threatened their relationship.

With them being so destructive it scares me for the future as Jenna Coleman has revealed that she will be leaving which leads me to think that their relationship will most likely deteriorate and I don't think I can handle that because that is what makes doctor who for me...if they don't have some sort of functioning relationship, how can they get stuff done?!

Series 8 has been so much better than I expected..if I'm honest I wasn't too sure that I would like the new doctor as I didn't think I would like to see an older actor as the doctor...but oh my god I am completely in love with Peter Capaldi!! His doctor literally captures everything I love about Eccleston, Tennant and Smith's doctors which is everything I could hope for!

One thing I'm not sure about is this Missy...because I'm pretty sure she called the doctor 'her boyfriend' which confuses me because River??? like I get the timeline scrambley thing...she's either been dead a while or not existing yet...but I just need to have some clarification of who she actually is...AND are we ever going to get the whole story of how Capaldi was already in the whoniverse...because I'm sure it was said it would be revealed???

But other than that...Doctor Who is the most fabulous thing in existence and I'm so glad I have been watching it and I have loved every second of it...and pray that it never ends because everybody needs a bit of it in their life!!

I love baking!

So today I was off school and what better way to catch up with some missed tv!

My today's number 1 watch was the final of The Great British Bake Off, and I loved every second! (spoilers below if you haven't seen it!)

As I have said in a previous post..I didn't mind who would win because they were all fab and I was so happy for Nancy! I was so convinced that Richard was going to win as he was star baker 5 times!! but they were all so good in the final!

I probably mentioned this before but I am also a very emotional person and I cried a little bit which seems to be the thing I'm best at...crying at tv shows that aren't even that sad!!

After watching it my sister wanted me to make scones because she fancied them...which turn out okay considering I had never baked them...I've literally only baked cakes before...I have some pictures too!

Well that has pretty much been my day so far...but tonight I am going to the cinema with my mum to see What We Did On Our Holiday, which I am super excited about because David Tennant is in it and I absolutely love him!! and it's also by the same people who made Outnumbered which has been one of my favourite shows since it began!

so last night I found myself indulged in Giovanna Fletcher's YouTube videos..

if you don't know who she is, to put it simply..she is married to the man of my dreams (Tom Fletcher from Mcfly/Mcbusted) but obviously she isn't just his wife, she is also an actress and an author!!

which brings me to the point of this post..I was watching one of her videos about becoming an author, and it has inspired me to really dedicate myself to this blog. Even though she was giving tips on writing a book, it helped me..she said to 'just write' and that is what I shall do!

I am going to aim on posting daily about my day which I can tell you aren't going to be very interesting..or long! So I might add some posts where I do tags which will give you more of an idea about me!

But less of me and back to the other Gi! SHE IS AMAZING!

I'm not going to lie, but I did only know of her from being a fan of Mcfly..but I can tell you I am so glad she is married to Tom because she has instantly become my favourite person!

Before I watched her videos she just seemed like a really shy but cool person...and after I watched them, I know she is absolutely crazy & I love it! I was sat in my room last night just laughing at her videos because she is honestly so funny!

Another YouTuber I love is Colleen Ballinger! Like her as Miranda is just fabulous!

I have to admit this when I first starting watching the Colleen and Miranda videos...I had no idea they were the same person!! Which just proves how amazing Colleen is!

I just love watching her videos because she has such an amazing personality which just makes me so happy when I watch her videos and she is one person I would absolutely love to meet!

If you don't know/watch either of these youtubers...please go watch now! I assure you they will both make you so so happy!

fairytales are fab

so I've just finished the first season of once upon a time, and I feel like I should post something because I loved it!!

for a while now I have been seeing people on the Internet talking about it and it never really crossed my mind to watch it until recently my best friend told me she had started it and I thought why not?

and the whole Snow White/Prince Charming story was amazing, it was honestly just the cutest and seeing them find each other time after time especially when they didn't even know who they actually were, they were still fighting to be together!

also the backstory of everybody was so good aswell because it really made me feel bad for most of them, even Regina if I'm although she's evil now all she wanted then was to be with the one she loved and I kind of understand why she wanted revenge so much!

So if you're reading this and have never watched it...please do!! I cannot wait to watch the next few seasons!

the greatest reunion ever

so last night I was just laying in bed scrolling through my phone, when I came across a post that was linking me to a video of Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas singing This is Me at the Staples Center..

and let me tell someone who fell in love with Demi and The Jonas Brothers through Camp Rock, this was like the most amazing thing I had heard in a while!

so I clicked the link and oh my god!! Obviously it was just a recording somebody had done at the concert, but the crowds reaction..everyone was screaming!! so loud that you could just about hear them singing and I swear that was just amazing!

I have watched it like 3 times since then because it is honestly my favourite thing and if Shane and Mitchie weren't one of your Disney Channel otp's I just don't know who you were shipping!!

also today I didn't have to be in school until 12 (which is a defo pro for a Monday!!) but unfortunately I had to leave my house at 10.30 to make sure I got two buses on I didn't have loads of time but the time I did have I spent watching Pitch Perfect which is just one of my favourite films!!

It combines a lot of my favourite things, a school setting, singing, romance, comedy...and that is what makes a good film for me! oh and Rebel Wilson!! She literally makes the whole film, I laugh at nearly every line she says and even when she isn't speaking her facial expressions are amazing!!

Sunday, 28 September 2014

blah blah blah

it's Sunday and as a wise man (well Chandler Bing) once said 'it's Sunday, I don't move on Sunday' and that is exactly how my day is going.

I seem to do this a lot the day after going out, not that I'm hungover I just feel the need to sit in bed all day (well until my dinner is ready!)

so last night I fell over, and when I say fell I do not mean tripped I mean full on fell to the ground!

I didn't actually think it was that bad of a fall apart from the fact that I had ripped the knees of my tights...but this morning I realised that I had also cut my knee a little bit!

and not too long ago as I was changing into my pyjamas..I noticed I have quite a big bruise on my left knee, and at the moment it is a purpley colour...all I have to say is thank god for alcohol so I didn't have to feel the pain of the fall as it happen!

I don't really ever have things to write about on the weekend as I feel like I don't really do anything have this little bit of writing.

the way I see things if you expect will be the exact opposite of what you were thinking of..

take last night, I was expecting it to be good and let me tell was far from it! Seriously like all the bad things you can think of...pretty much happened!

So I am out again tonight and I expect nothing from it..because I so do not want to jinx it! (Which has actually become quite a habit of mine recently

I'll leave you with that ramble..and I shall write something remotely interesting again soon!

Friday which means it's finally the weekend! I honestly have barely anything to write about today, but I thought I must!

Today consisted of literally just school which at times can be exciting but nope, not today! but I am off out later which shall be I thought I must write something before I leave!

As I've already mentioned...I love Haven!
The 5th season is 3 episodes in and I am totally in love, the 3rd episode has been my favourite. Mara just proves how fab she can be in this episode, her humour is absolutely wonderful and I won't even go on to mention the kiss!!!

but even though I absolutely adore Mara...I am itching for Audrey to come back, her first apperance at the end of the second episode was just wow!

But this episode I swear it is just so beyond perfect, and she needs to come through already...I need some proper Naudrey moments!!

I have this weird theory that every time Audrey comes through, the more she panics, the quicker she the first time you saw her she was in so much shock of seeing nathan she could barely string any words together..and then the bed scene she managed to talk to Nathan but it went very fast! But then when he was tickling her she seemed to be laughing too much to realise that she had come through but as soon as she did she started to panic and trying to get her words out which caused her to fade...

I cried

this post is mostly referring to yesterday because I literally had no idea what to write about!

so yesterday I talked about this season of The Great British Bake Off, which unfortunately ended with Martha being the one to leave...which I was incredibly sad about..and even though I watched it a day after and already knew she had left I cried!

but for her to be 17 and come 5th is amazing and just proves how much skill she has!

also yesterday I went to see The Riot Club in the cinema...and if I'm honest I went there knowing literally nothing about the film apart from the fact Sam Claflin and Douglas Booth were in it (who doesn't want to see them in a film together?!)

but I'm not really sure I liked the film...I wouldn't go as far as saying that it was a bad film but the whole pub scene was horrible..maybe that was the reason to show what the riot club was all about, but for me I just was waiting for that whole thing to end as blood and that is just nothing I like, I liked the beginning and the end..just the whole 'rioting' bit wasn't my thing.

but I will say Sam Claflin..amazing actor! As I watched him play the horrible Alistair, I just thought it was amazing that he was the same person that plays Finnick (in the hunger games..if you didn't know) as they are so beyond different and he just wowed me!!

half way there

what to do you when you're alone in town waiting for someone?!

It's is Wednesday and in reference to the title...half way through the week!

This week has probably been the longest since being back to school after the summer holidays, but I feel like it has been sort of eventful...(well maybe it's just all the shows that have come back).

With Wednesday being half way through the week (well school week) I feel like it is the busiest for TV...not only do I have the TV that airs today but I have catch up sessions on Wednesday (mainly because they only stay for a gotta watch them fast!

But if you are from the UK, the entertainment for most of us on a Wednesday night is The Great British Bake who doesn't love watching people cook?!

This has been my favourite series so far, the contestants are so good! I don't think I have any that I don't like (apart from when Diana ruined Iain's baked Alaska..but I'll forgive her) and Martha is amazing! As much as I think it's amazing that's she's only 17(maybe 18) and has gotten this annoys me that she is a year younger than me and doing all these amazing bakes while I still have to ask my mum what I'm doing everytime she wants me to turn the hob on/off!

I cannot even think of someone I want to win! They're all so amazing...but I will say if Martha does win I think I may actually shed a tear (which to be honest happens a lot!)

I think the last time I cried at the bake off was when Howard left...he was definitely my favourite of last season and the poor man was involved in a custard theft (one of the most shocking moments if I'm honest!

Right this second I am sat at a bus stop waiting for my friends...I have been sat here so long that it is starting to become very uncomfortable, lucky I have my earphones...but I only have 53% it better last!

year 14 is the worst

so I don't know if everyone understands the UK schooling years but the normal goes up to year 13 (which is the last year before you go to university or just straight into work) but in some cases (like myself) you stay an extra year...

After being at this school for 7 years I can tell you that year 14 is a year that you don't want to be in, I have one friend and because of our timetables we barely see each other so I spend most of my time alone (like now) and the year 12's are now the year 7's that started when I was in year 9 (the year where everybody thought they were cool) which just makes you feel so old!

I could probably do so much more with this hour before my lesson (but to be honest I have a two hour lesson coming up so why would I do work now?!) as much as I enjoy business, I don't think I could do three solid hours so I thought I would just write here (mainly because it's one of the only websites that works on the school wifi!)

I don't really have much planned for today, I'm at school until half 2 (which seems very long as it is only half 9) and then after that I will do my usual...sit in my bedroom watching TV and drinking endless amounts of black coffee before I sleep.

But Haven is on tonight...and although I have already seen the episode (because I am too impatient and cannot wait a week..God bless America for airing a few days before the UK) I am super excited because as with most TV shows where they get worse as more seasons get added...Haven seems to be doing the opposite and getting so much better! and the end of season 5 episode two!! all I can say is Naudrey!!!

20 years?!?!?!

it's the 22nd September 2014 which means it's 20 years since the first ever episode of Friends aired!

So I thought it write a cute little blog post celebrating my favourite TV show ever. I am I only 18 but I've watched all 10 seasons so many times that it feels like I've been watching it since it very first aired...and I find it really weird that it started 2 years before I was even born!

if you're reading this and have never watched Friends...I highly recommend you finish this and start watching right away!

There's something that makes Friends amazing that I cannot really simply explain..I think because it's a show that not only does silly little jokes but at some points can deal with very serious subjects in a way that can help people, and I think that's why it's still so popular after 20's relatable!

In February 2013 I went on a school trip to LA...and one day we went to the warner bros studios (that itself was exciting enough) and one of the best parts was that we got to see the Central Perk set..which was the most amazing thing ever to happen in my life..and I have some pictures to show!

also I had a Friends themed birthday cake!

at this moment in time I am watching the nations top 20 Friends episodes on Comedy Central and it is on number 11 which is 'the one with the rumour'. This is the episode that has Brad Pitt in and it is one of my favourites!

my favourite scene in this episode is where they are all sitting round the table and Rachel asks Will( Brad Pitt) if he has a problem with her and he replies with 'I don't I? Do I?!' And phoebe is like 'I think you do' and then another one is when Pheobe is like 'oh c'mon Will, just take off your shirt and tell us'

I just love that fact Friends is so popular after 20 years and hope that it will be watched for years and years after!

getting old is no fun

so it is 9pm on a Saturday night and I am laying in bed after a very non eventful day..

most Saturdays I would be going out around this time but as it's mid September most of my friends have gone off to university (while I'm stuck at sixth form for another year) which means barely anybody is out, so my night will not be very interesting and I shall probably be asleep by 10.30!

I'll just talk about day because I feel like I paragraph and a bit was too short; not that I have done much..the most memorable thing I have done today is finish season 3 of Awkward and drink my weight in coffee...I don't know if you watch Awkward, but to me I really didn't like season 3, the way Jenna changed when she was with Collin was the worst and all I want is for Jenna to get back with Matty..will that ever happen?!

I'm going to leave with that because I'm not sure what else to write about..

I will try not to fangirl

so in a post I said I will talk about some of my favourite TV shows as I think there are so many unwatched/unheard of shows which aren't getting the ratings they deserve to be honest..

during the summer, I was trying to find a new TV series to while flicking through TV on demand I noticed 4 seasons of a show called Haven..I passed over it a few times before actually deciding to watch it and that is where it was formed my obsession for the greatest show ever

When I first watched it I was unsure what to think because if I'm honest it's a little weird and the only description was 'an FBI agent goes to a town to discover its secrets' but after watching a few episodes it gets better and you understand it more..

The first season sees Audrey (an FBI agent) go to the town of Haven for one case and she ends up staying much longer after meeting Nathan (middle) and Duke, and after finding out some secrets of her own.

With out spoiling it there are 5 main characters (all played by Emily Rose) which play a massive role in the series.

As well as Audrey there are (in order of pictures) Sarah, Lucy, Lexie and Mara. There is not much mentioned about Lucy a few flashbacks and a little back story within the first few well as Sarah but she also has a little bit of an extra storyline which I'll talk about in a minute.

But Lexie..she was introduced in season 4 and isn't there very long but when I first saw her she easily became my favourite character and storyline, but now being at season 5 and only 2 episodes in Mara is just something special, she's unlike any of the others and Emily Rose plays her so well that it's hard not to love her really!

As with every TV show there is the love storyline..and Haven maybe possibly have the most confusing...I won't say much (it ties in with the Sarah storyline) but it is one worth knowing more about..I'll just leave you with these pictures.

I think that you should go and watch Haven because it is by far one of the most heart wrenching dramatic shows I have watched in a while but it is amazing and I'm so glad that I started watching it!

I'll leave with one thing..

This may just look like a screencap of an ordinary kiss on the cheek when really it is (in my eyes) one of the most important scenes as it does have a lot of connection to what is happening in the show and is the moment I started shipping Audrey and Nathan!

not sleeping makes me angry

Last night I had the worst sleep of my life; not only was my room like a million parents thought it was the perfect time to be super loud (a defo con to having the room above the living room).

As I lay there I noticed that when I don't get the amount of sleep I want..I get know that feeling when you're angry? like there's a surge of well adrenaline racing through you? well it was like that, so I decided to listen to the only noise I could stand at that moment in time. music.

I pulled out a piece of iPod nano (not the fancy things they have now I mean the square thing with a screen and the circle control...that is slowly breaking) and I had a very nostalgic belieber moment when Down to Earth came on shuffle (yes, I spent 4 years of my life obsessing over Justin Bieber) you may hate him but you cannot deny his 15 year old self had the most perfect voice..

(after writing that little rant at about 12am...I figured out that although I get angry when I don't sleep...I was quite awake this morning. like normally I would take a while to get out of my bed but I suprisingly just woke up...maybe I should sleep less.)

fiction over reality

As a TV/movie/book lover I spend way too much time in fictional worlds compared to reality, which could be classed as bad but I think it's everything!

There is not a time I can remember where I haven't watched TV (and by watch TV I do not mean switch on the TV and find something random to watch..

I have watched and fallen in love with hundreds of TV shows over the years that have in a weird way influenced my life...come on if you don't want to spend your days in a coffee shop with 5 of your friends then you're living wrong!

I could talk about all the TV shows I have watched and how they have influenced but to be honest..I'm sure you don't care!  (I will be making posts about a few because there are so many unwatched and underrated shows).

Within the worlds of fiction is a certain amount of reality, but that is the part we don't take notice of, the main part of fiction that most people (including me) wish would become reality is when the person who is most unnoticed ends up being in the spotlight.

The main reason I prefer fiction to reality is that everything you could possibly imagine happening....actually happens! (We all know Daniel went to London to be with Betty) and in the world of a TV show that is normal..but could you imagine that happening in reality? no? that's because it most likely wouldn't.

Fiction is the greatest escape from reality because that is where dreams come true...

start of something new

Hey! I'm Georgia...but I would much prefer gee!

the main things in my life are TV, movies, music and coffee..which will most likely be recurring topics in this blog.

I've been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but I never really knew what I could speak about...but I've recently been watching Awkward and Jenna's blog has inspired me to actually start writing this...

you'll have to bare with me for a while because I'm definitely not used to talking about myself this much
